Adding and removing panes#
Press ⌘] to add a pane and ⌘[ to remove one. Close the focused pane with ⌘⌥W. There’s no fixed limit — add as many panes as your monitor can comfortably fit.
Moving files between panes#
Drag files directly from one pane to another, or cut with ⌘X in one pane and paste with ⌘V in another. Each pane keeps its own history, so navigating in one never disturbs the rest.
Resizing#
Every region of the window is resizable — the sidebar, each content pane, and the preview pane. Grab any divider and drag.
Saved with your workspace#
Your pane layout is part of workspace restoration: quit Cosmil and reopen it, and every window comes back with the same panes, tabs, and active directories.
